Chantelle and Andrew

Vanstone Park Wedding

This incredible day involved three brilliant venues!

Firstly, to spend some time with the Bride-to-be and her close friends, we headed to the fantastic Aubrey Park Hotel to make sure Chantelle and Andrew had memories of all the little details, the hair and makeup being done, the jewellery that had been bought especially for this day, the flowers, beautiful dress and the fun and excitement that was building throughout the morning.

Once everything was ready, it was time to head off to the iconic Methodist Church on Marlborough in St Albans, a church where the family were well known and loved.

The service was perfect, friends and family everywhere, beautiful music and the perfect fit for this great couple. Chantelle and Andrew had decided that they would like a big group image of everyone on the steps of the church so we made sure to capture this before we headed off to tipi’s, Carribean cooking, bouncy castle and into the wonderful hands of their wedding coordinator Sian from Busy Brides who comes highly recommended and made the entire evening go seamlessly!

This was the part of the day where we got to take the couple off and get creative with the portraits before getting ready to capture some emotional moments during speeches, some lovely sparkler images to remember those that were unable to join them and of course the first dance as husband and wife!

Chantelle opted to go for ‘The Whole Lot’ and benefitted from two photographers, an engagement session and signing frame, bridal prep through to after the first dance timings and it was a beautiful day to be a part of!

I Work With You To Bring Your Dream Day Into A Reality

Before their big day, Chantelle and Andrew came to meet me at the studio to talk all about what was important to them, both said they loved the natural, laid back images where people were unawares which captured more natural emotions – They wanted lots of memories of family and friends on their day so this is exactly what we created for them.

Chantelle and Andrew also enjoyed the experience of having a fun and relaxed engagement session. It is a great way to get to know each other a little more and to bring that confidence of being in front of the camera right up and ready for the main event!

Planning & Budgeting

Chantelle was so organised that even I learned a thing or two! The planning was done very much in advance and with the help of Sian from Busy Brides everything was prepped, organised and went very smoothly from start to finish!

As far as budgeting goes – have a final figure in mind and then work logically – Guest list (so you know how much room you will need) Venue first, Photographer and/or Videographer second – these are the businesses that get booked 12/18 months in advance – then dress (serious fun!) DJ, Bridesmaids dresses and suits and then you can look into venue decoration (if not included with your venue), invitations. Before you know it, it will be time for your engagement session!!

Venue & Decor

The guys at Vanstone Park and Sian were pretty awesome – whilst all the prep was taking place in the morning, Sian and the team were getting everything set up and ready for the arrival of the newlyweds and the rustic look to the venue was very fitting!

Great Venue fantastic wedding coordinator – highly recommended!

Event & Guest Coordination

As mentioned before – Sian from Busy Brides was hired for the day to make sure everything went to plan, make sure people were where they should be and that timings were kept too – in all of my experiences over the years, Sian is right up there with the best in the business and thoroughly deserved her award! For anyone considering having someone to help coordinate their day – give her a call!

Happy Clients

“We had seen Dan’s work before through Facebook and Instagram and really loved the natural style and the emotions that he produced without people knowing – as soon as we had met him and got talking, we knew we wanted him there at our big day – we trusted him, felt comfortable with him and knew he would deliver exactly what we wanted”

“The way Dan and Rob worked with us and all our guests was great – they got on well with everyone which was noted by lots of our guests and this also really helped us to relax on the day – no job was too much of a stress or too big or small”

“If you think about what is important to you for your wedding – so many things are only there for the day – your photos will be around forever so choosing the right photographer is essential! If you like the look of Dan’s work and he is around your budget then get in touch with him – He really is so great to work with – you will love the whole experience!”
