St. Albans Registry Office Wedding

I LOVE YOU NOT ONLY FOR WHO YOU ARE, BUT FOR WHO I AM WHEN I AM WITH YOU.
Carole and Scott tied the knot at St Albans Registry Office beofre heading to The Holiday Inn to spend time with their family and friends
Carole and Scott had decided on a half day option for their wedding so the day began at St Albans Registry Office where I met Scott and his Best man and spent a little time with them before his beautiful bride arrived.
The ceremony room at St Albans is lovely, simple and intimate and when you have all your friends and family sitting around you, you can feel the love in the room.
This was a day full of laughs, a lot of emotion and tears for some truly wonderful people and also, quite possible, the best dance moves I have seen for a first dance!
I Work With You To Bring Your Dream Day Into A Reality
I originally met Scott when covering a charity boxing event years prior to his wedding. He got in touch to say he loved my work and remembered how comfortable he felt whilst I was there taking photos of them all and that was why he wanted me to meet Carole to see if we were a wedding fit!
We absolutely were – such an incredibly fun couple with a beautiful family that had an absolute blast on their day! Loved every second of it!
Planning & Budgeting
Carole and Scott were very clever with their budgeting and made sure they got what important to them for their day – to be surrounded by friends, family and loved ones for an awesome day of fun, laughing, emotions and serious dance moves!
As far as budgeting goes – have a final figure in mind and then work methodically – Guest list (so you know how much room you will need) Venue first, Photographer and/or Videographer second – these are the businesses that get booked 12/18 months in advance – then dress (serious fun!) DJ, Bridesmaids dresses and suits and then you can look into venue decoration (if not included with your venue), invitations. Before you know it, it will be time for your engagement session!!

Venue & Decor
The Decor at St. Albans Registry Office is fairly simple without much room for changing things – if this is somewhere you are thinking of having your day, just speak to the people in charge of have a look HERE for some information.
At The Holiday Inn, the staff worked with Carole and Scott to make sure they had everything in place for their arrival and had all the little personal touches ready for them to just relax and enjoy their day!
Event & Guest Coordination
The people at St. Albans Registry Office are always so welcoming and well organised – On hand to guide people to where they need to be and also helpful when having some group images before heading off to the reception venue – the staff at The Holiday Inn were equally as helpful, showing people where to get their reception and paving the way for every part of the day
“I met Dan years before our wedding and remembered how well he got on with everyone and how he handled lots of different types of people too – I had earmarked it for our big day before I had even proposed!”
“We went to meet Dan so Carole could meet him and see what he was about – she came out of the meeting with no doubt in her mind that he was the right photographer for our day – From start to finish he impressed us with his attitude and adaptability”
“After the wedding we absolutely loved reliving our day at Dans studio – the atmosphere and excitement was great and we also invested in a lovely album because we loved them so much! Highly recommend Dan if you are looking for someone relaxed, talented that you can trust!”
